Personal and Social Development
Here, children are given many oppor-tunities to enhance social skills with group play and activities. Our staff encourages children to solve con-flicts as a team by verbalizing their feelings. We teach that words are more powerful than any action. We encourage children to develop posi-tive peer interaction through various play and group activities. Our staff will model appropriate behavior to show how children should treat each other to build children’s friendships as well as offer positive experiences. |
Positive Self Esteem
Every child needs positive self esteem. Together, we can give chil-dren lots of positive attention. Children assist in defining rules, teaching them self control and good decision making. We talk about the importance of pa-tience, sharing, and respecting other’s rights in order to build up a child’s confi-dence. Through play, interaction, role play, and feedback, all our efforts will help each child grow and develop. |
