3 Little Monkey's Swinging in a Tree

Our Stop in Brazil is our Preschool Age 3-5 year old classroom “3 Little Monkey’s Swinging in a Tree”.  Even though we don’t have trees to swing in we have a great adventure in this classroom.  The train stop for this room is Iguassu Falls. In the preschool class we focus on preparing them for kindergarten.   To help a child concentrate and helping them retain what they learn, we write stories and read many books.  We get the children excited about the alphabet by singing, repeating and visualizing on the ABC's throught the day.  Our goal is to help them recognize the letters and sounds of each letter.  We also work on Math and problem solving through games

and activities that require counting, sorting and matching. One of our favorite things to do is seeing for ourselves how science is in everything!  You can see our curriculum on the calendar link.

 

FACTS ABOUT BRAZIL:

Brazil covers nearly half of South America and is home of the Amazon Rain Forest.   It has one of the most popular mountain ranges, the Corcovado. Rainforest animals include monkey, toucan, armadillo, bat, opossum, lion, titi and deer.
